Vijay R. Marwaha, MD
Dr. Marwaha was born and raised in India, coming to the United States in 1991 to pursue his undergraduate education at Pennsylvania State University.
He received his BS with honors in Chemistry from Penn State in1995 and went on to earn an MBA in Health Care Administration and Finance from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management.
He remained at CWRU for medical school, receiving his MD in 1999.
He followed with a residency and internship in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital.
Dr. Marwaha completed his Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship with Peripheral Training at VCU Pauley Heart Center in 2006 and joined Pauley Heart Center’s interventional cardiology team in 2008 as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Cardiology.
Dr. Marwaha has been an active researcher throughout his med school and training years, authoring or co-authoring articles or abstracts in professional journals including Circulation, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, Vascular Pharmacology, andJournal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology
He is a Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention.
